Movicon XCET

One of the main advantages you get from using Movicon is Scalability. Movicon X can actually be run both on desktops (Personal Computers and on embedded systems based on Windows XP Embedded and Windows CE. For instance, today nearly all the HMI operator terminals are based on PC architecture with Windows CE operating systems. The advantages gained are evident:

major potentiality in HMI systems, cost reductions for adopting standard solutions,

total HMI system integration in network with superior company levels

hardware interchangeability while maintaining the same software, cost reductions in programming thanks t the universal employment of one-only platform, with consequent reductions in format and updating costs. In fact the same Movicon project can work on both Personal Computers with Win32 and WinCE embedded systems (except for a few functionalities which are not provided in CE and HMI environments).
